Mr. Muffler in Sanford Florida:

Mr Muffler Shop Sanford, FL, 32771 - YP.com

Tell him the guy with the 2011 Mustang who had them install the GT mufflers sent you. They also did the muffler work on a 71 Chevelle SS I used to own.

Doing a little research, I see Ebay listing a cheap pair of GT500 axle backs @ 118. But they have a part number stamped on them as
FI-7849-R. I suspect these are pre 2010 axle backs, hence the low price. anyone able to confrim the correct part number? I know the number listed on AM and LateModelRest... is not the same.

....more reading. Apparently 05-09 have a shorter rear end, slightly shorter tips on exhaust, 2010 is a one off year using new body style with older engine options, slightly longer tips. 2011 and up are all the same.

The FRPP M-5230-S is the 2005-2009 version. FRPP M-5230-SA is the 2010 version. 2011+ is FFRP M-5230-mgtca1.

...and not to confuse the matter but Ford racing, and ford OEM use different part numbers. Both look to be exactly the same.
