With the Trinity 5.8's huge Ti.s, err, cam covers/heads almost touching the sides , will a 6.2 even fit between the shock towers? Now I need to Google that...searching...looking...Seems a 6.2 is not a Quad cammer and about the size of a 5.4? Yep, seems so...??

OP, congratulations on your engine transplant. I must say respectfully, I'm trying too see the point too this. Clearly it can be done but just because something can be done doesn't mean it makes sense too do it. So with that said the one question comes too my mind. WHY?

If you want a 5.0 engine, then why not just buy a 5.0. It can't be anymore or much more money too sell your 3.7 and buy a 5.0 compared to putting the 5.0 engine in your 3.7. If you spent almost 10k for the engine swap , then you could of just bought a new 5.0 and be done with it.

I'm just curious too the point of removing your 3.7 engine and swap too 5.0 engine when you could of just bought a 5.0 and been done with it.

Yeah, he got manual trans swap too. Fantastic, I love it. Now, Why not just sell the 3.7 and buy a manual 5.0? Unless I'm missing something.

What I did was find the perfect Donor car as close to mine as possible. I found a 2013 pre-certified GT premium with 5,000 miles on it traded in on an F-150. Cost $28.9 They gave me a very fair trade-in on my V6 with 21,000 miles. The hard work was it did take about 4 hours at the dealership from test drive to drive home. Getting the Donor car to look as good as my V6. The beauty shop treatment next week is putting the same Stripes, Spoiler, qtr windows, and side scoops. Getting bit for an extra 2K was the Ohio Sales Tax !

Hi Kona, after 2-1/2 months of my research, that point is exactly what I was trying to get across to others that may have had, or later will get, the same whim of a direct engine swap. The idea of a full Donor car that provided everything to me but my Smart phone, GPS, and Passport devices seemed to be the only way to go.

Oh, I also need to re-strip and install Kali Spoiler/side scoops on the Donor car as well. I already had waiting in my storage shed a MRT read AL black rear window louver and small size Mach 1 style black front hood scoop. I dont need to change my avatar until I installed the hood scoop.

The Raptor 6.2 fits like a glove. It's been done already and it is amazing. The 6.2 is getting a lot of attention at Livernois. Potential is fantastic.
