You want one of the best?
Good running fast car?
Someone who knows what they are doing?
If so go with lund.

Eventually when I get more into performance modding (essentially when my college budget allows me) I'll definitely give Lund a shot, if he's still the #1 guy around in 2-3 years.

But Lund doesn't fool with light modded v6's? I thought it was heavy modded v8's

i bet They do have to fix alot of Bama tunes. I had Bama , it was the worst exspirence.. Went to Lund and i love it, there customer service is GREAT, and the tune is awsome. They even did some data logs to make sure it was perfect for my car. (on there own suggestion)

I've never used a Bama tune. My first tune in 2010 for my 2011 v6 automatic was from Lund. He makes very good tunes, nice shift points for automatic. Lund tunes are $200 each. My $75 MPT tunes pull just a little bit harder than my Lund tune

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the tuners that are mentioned in this thread. You're talking about all of the best tuners in the world when it comes to Mustangs. That being said, we've tuned more Mustangs than anyone else out there and definitely have these cars figured out. We can datalog with you after the first tune and then make adjustments off of that. That will allow us to deliver the safest and most powerful tune that we can!

For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and tons of street/track and dyno testing (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC), we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you guys. We're also part of Fords Technology Transfer Program & Work very closely with Ford to insure that all of our tunes are perfect!

Last but not least, we do offer free tunes for life. Anytime you add a new modification, need some revisions or just want to try a different tune, it's all included! Just hit up the Bama team directly and they'll gladly help you out. I'm also hear to help you. Any questions you may have I would be glad to help you out! I'm only a PM away. Feel free to hit me up anytime!

Hope this helps.

-Dan

Lund. Take the advice from someone who has had to make the switch and just take the right path the first time.

So would you need to buy the SCT x4 and then pay an additional $200 for the lund tune before you receive the tuner?

I'm pretty sure if you buy the tuner from them its only $100 extra. With Bama its free tunes for life with the purchase of a tuner. At least this is for the SCT X4 I was looking at.

It's the same for Lund as well. If you change intake or exhaust.. Etc. Lund will update your tune for free. They just don't advertise it all over the place like Bama does. I have Lund. That's what they told me. They even have it in playing writing on their website, tune revisions are free for Minor bolt-on modifications.

Would I have to pay for a whole new tune when I eventually go with a turbo?
Also would it be the $200 or a lot more?

The Hybrid tune is really cool. However, we just recently re-vamped our 2011+ Tunes and incorporated most of the Hybrid tune features. The Hybrid tune was very popular because it was basically a mix of all three tune options. It had the low end grunt of the Street tune, mid range of the Performance tune and top end of the Race tune. We were getting a ton of request for this so we decided to add as much of the Hybrid tune into our standard Street, Performance and Race tunes as possible. That being said, the 93Race tune will be very similar to the old Hybrid tune..

I hope this helps! We'd be glad to answer any further questions you may have. Just let Myself or the Bama team know! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Well I heard that the tunes were revamped for the 5.0 not the 3.7 so if you could clarify this I would greatly appreciate it.
