I hope this was a mistake, or that it is a payment made every 2 months or so...yikes!

Find a new insurance company (a reputable one like State Farm or something). Just get a free quote based on your current policy. Unless you have a lot of stuff against you that seems astronomically high. I pay about that much for 3 months of full coverage.

Remember, he said he was 19 years old...we don't know his driving record (tickets? accidents?), and what type of coverage/deductable he went with.

But boy, thats a wopper!

Oh I know, but even my ex when she got her car insurance at 23 (she totaled the last car she had and didn't drive for a about a year or so) had been in 2 accidents and 1 ticket and with State Farm full coverage she was at ~$140 a month. Granted she was 23, and had a $500 deductible. It just seems like $325 is way too much for a V6.

I had no accidents, I got a speeding ticket in a school zone once but they didn't find out about it. My dad says that that's the lowest price he could find. Progressive

Ouch. Well you better not screw around with that thing, $325 is a crazy amount already lol.

Just to be clear you're saying $325 for YOUR car right?

Just wondering if that $325 includes all your household vehicles. I'm assuming you're under your parent's insurance plan and $325 for all the household vehicles seems to make more sense.

I pay less than $60/month for my '11 with full coverage/$500 deductible. And that's before multi-car/multi-policy discounts.

While I was looking at my policy I noticed that the Mustang is the 17th car I've insured since I got my policy with USAA about 30 years ago. One of these day's I'll have to try to remember what all those cars were and make a list.

They should have a record of it- that'd be cool
