I just saw this, and now about 4 folks here looking for them at $99

Makes me consider changing my GT strut for one, I miss my boss strut on my V6.

They just got them back in stock. Mine shipped today and will be here tomorrow after being on back order for about a month. I got mine when they had them on sale for $79.99. From what other people have said, they look like the ford OEM boss unit with fit and finish being identical. They must be selling them as a loss leader, either that or AM and the rest are making some HUGE margins off of them at $170.

I had this one on my 2013 V6, I can tell you I liked it better then the stock GT one on my 2013 V8.

For those that may not be aware, the 3.7 V6 has to use the "Boss" type stut bar brace, and not the ones used by the 5.0 GT's.
Due to the 3.7 having the high intake runners, the GT strut bar will not clear; it has to be the Boss (Boss and V6 are the same strut bars).

+1 on that. Should be interesting to see what difference it makes. I have a felling im going to need to change out the rear sway bar after I put this on. Lol

That might be why the Shaker hood scoop system wont work on a V6 or Boss either?

Most likely. With the other engine types they made it designed to work with, it mounts on top of the intake, and then connected to the air tube in front of the air filter to sort of "ram" the air into the intake. I'll wager the long swooping intake tubes of the 3.7 V6 make it difficult to sit the shaker scoop in the engines center, and center in the hood.

I sure liked it on the original Mach's, but on these late models, it kind of looks dwarfed for some reason.

Just got mine today. The thing is a legit ford part. Even has the ford stamping in the metal. Its built like a rock as well. For $79-$99 I don't see how any other brand can be better at 140+ dollars.

Is this the same strut tower brace used in the Performance Package?
It looks the same, just curious.
