New here ! 14' v6 mustang

Was wondering if there is a better looking intake manifold I can buy for it? I've seen the covers that you can buy, not really my style.

Another option that I've been people do is take a stock engine cover and get custom paint on it and it generally turns out really well and adds a unique look when you open your hood.

As far as intake manifold s , the stock is just about as good as it gets performace wise. So aftermarket comp. Probably aren't gonna fab up any thing

ahh well thanks for looking. I guess I'll just put a strut tower brace and try to improve the looks a little. Probably going to end up getting the hood struts from American muscle too

From what I've seen, people have made their own. One guy claimed he made 70hp off of his custom manifold, however there was no proof if those numbers were true.

That's sick if that's true. I work in a fab shop as a welder I might be able to come up with something any idea on what type of material the guy used? Stainless ... aluminum...etc.

I believe he used aluminum. Here's a link to the forum I found it on:

Best of luck if you decide to fabricate your own!

You can have yours ported by Supersixmotorsports. The lower portion is the one that has the most restriction. Sounds like your more interested in looks though. If so, maybe a can of spray paint might work.
