sct tunes

Hey,
I have had my 2013 v6 pony package for about a year. Just got a strut bar, airaide intake and sct tuner this week. I haven't got any custom tunes because I bought the tuner used. Tuned 91 gas this morning and it's running great. I'm wondering though if I should use the preloaded steeda intake tune or pay for a custom tune for the airaide intake... it doesn't seem worth paying for a custom tune until I have done more mods... Any thoughts?

I wouldn't use the tune made for the steeda intake because:

1. The steeda intake diameter is larger than the other aftermarket intakes which is why it's the only intake that requires a tune and

2. The ecu code that the tune is built for may not match your car's ecu.

I'd say that there are too many unknowns to try it. It may run fine, or it may brick your car.

Sent from the future.

Ok cool thanks! I guess I'll wait for a bit and eventually get a custom tune.
