Talking Quick Update

Hey everyone, would just like to update everyone on my car. I installed the rims,x-pipe,ab and hopefully within the next 2 weeks finish and install the cai and springs. I'm hoping to have a tuner by then. I also ordered the shelby spoiler and will be installing that as well within the next 2 weeks. Overall it took about 2 hours for the exhaust and about 30mins or less for tires. I have one question though, after installing the exhaust the mpg is off (i think) On a full tank it will say 290-300miles till empty now it's reading 330-350 is that normal?Below are some pics and a quick video. There was also very small and barely visible scratches on the rims which came like that ;( but not a big deal.

Are those the MMD rear window louvers? What do you think of them? Any rattling at highway speeds? I was thinking about getting them here pretty soon.

Sent from the future.

They are the msi window louvers from autoanything. At 70mph + you will hear SOME rattling but nothing serious tbh.

Awesome ride Sir. IMO you should smoke out the side marker lights to complete the blackout look. A very inexpensive easy mod that will make a world of difference. Again, that's just my opinion.

Are you going to install the spoiler yourself or are you having it done professionally?

I purchased the off road bbk x pipe, it was really simple really. Very time consuming if anything taking off the stock pipe but once it's off everything else should be a breeze. Tools are obviously a factor as well. My step-dad has one of those power lifters on his work area which of course made everything so much easier.

Spoiler is easy. But this was my third one. Took 20 mins. Just follow instructions and don't rush it.

It seems easy just line up the spoiler, mark your holes, and drill and tighten down?

Basically yes. Just make sure you remove the 2 plastic caps on the inside of the truck lid. Or you may drill right through them.

AM has good instructions on installing it.

Yep just springs, feels good , not to stiff. 1.5 inch is the most you should drop on stock shocks/struts. IMO its a perfect drop.

Did you change wheel size when you changed tires? If so your Speedo and MPG will be off. That plus you are probably going to run off with the X-pipe until you get the tune. I believe all mid pipes require a tun. I konw my off road did. also the tume will adjust for wheel size.

@naples yeah I changed to 18s from the stock 17s, it's probably the X-Pipe like you said. I'm ordering a tune this Friday not sure which one tho mpt or the new x4 bama.
@smurf I ended up getting the airaid intake, very happy with it. Springs going on later on today (wednesday) and will post pictures.
