Tri-bar emblem in the middle of billet grille?

Hi, so I've been thinking about ordering a Tri-bar emblem and I was wondering if it would be possible to put it in the middle of my Billet grille (instead of to the side)?? I have the Regular 10-12 v6 billet grille and I noticed that there is one of these vertical bars right in the middle of it. Would appreciate any help from anyone who tried so.

Thats what i keep thinking, but then again i know it's a removable mod so i can play with it every now and then. I just don't like having it to the side it's too mainstreem.

I know I saw a pic with the tri-bar but it wasn't in the center, it was off to the side.

Yep, you can definitely put it where you like. I put mine to the side though but it can go in the middle....... Didn't notice yours isn't a 13-14.

There is no metal bar in the middle, what you see in the middle of my grille is a plastic supporting bracket from the chrome, or in my case black surround. There is enough clearance. But keep in mind I have the black billet grille from AM on a 2013. Your grille looks to have a lot more horizontal bars than mine so in your case it might not be possible.

.

Yeah thats why. Our grilles are a little different with the horizontal bars because yours is a 13'-14' grille.

You can put it anywhere you want on your grill except for dead center. It will have to be off set just a little or it will not sit flush. You don't want it rattling non stop down the road

Is that tint you put on your oem Headlights?

I was thinking about doing this and getting out of my Raxiom HL. Did you get the film local or off Late Model Restoration. Also did you need to go with brighter bulbs

I actually got them off of Ebay and it was very good quality! It comes with the side marker tints as well all for like $17! I took me no time to install them like 15-20 minutes taking my time.
I did not go with brighter bulbs for now cause im having no problems with the light output, but thats just me. If you are thinking about going from raxiom back to tinted stock because of the light output from Raxiom (which i heard is bad) then you definitely will be wanting to go with brighter bulbs.
I have also ordered taillight and rear side marker tints from the same seller and i JUST got done installing them as im typing this haha!

you have to sand the center part of the grille to make it flat.
I'm going to buy a billitt grille within the next couple months, and I plan on doing that.
I've already go the emblem

If you want to put it in the middle, you will more than likely have to sand it.

This is a Ford Grill that came on my Mustang Club of America

I fell in love with the look of my Mustang and bought it on the spot.
Red Candy paint with Charcoal grey 18 inch wheels and this front end had me hooked on the dealers lot. Stone leather interior and 3.7 Automatic. Pirelli tires and My Ford Sync. I was in love with a Mustang I named "RED RYDER"

Your Mustang looks perfect without the emblem.

I don't think you need to put anything on the grill. The way you have the lights and the way the grill blends, It really would not look as good with anything breaking up the way it looks.
Your car look great the way it is.

Of course we would like to see more pictures.

Thanks man, thats exactly what I was thinking, the black grille blending with the blacked out headlights gives it a much aggressive retro look. So I am gonna eliminate the emblem Idea.

It's funny how people always want the opposite of what they have, just because sometimes they think it is the thing to do. Your car looks exactly now like what people with ponies and tri-bars are doing to theirs.

I feel you man, its just that sometimes we feel like we wanna add something, not knowing that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". After really thinking about it, I am convinced that my car looks alot better just as is, with nothing breaking that aggressive black area from headlight to headlight.

Yeah, your whole car is a nice contrast of black and white. Clean, simple and sinister.

You all know what is great about Mustangs?????

I just looked at 1,200 pictures of the 50th. in Charlotte and Las Vegas of Mustangs. I did not see any that looked exactly the same. (I'm sure there were some that did) But not in the pictures. They all seem to have their own looks. Mustang owners seem to do things to their Mustangs to personalize them.
Between the two clubs I belong to, I'm guessing there are at least 150 to 200 Mustangs of all years and no two look exactly alike. It amazes me.

Mustang User has a great car, It is White. BUT it is not looking exactly like any other white Mustang. It has it's own look and it sure does look nasty ( In a good way) and will stand out in any crowd.

Im gonna black it out soon, im just looking for a gloss black vinyl instead of the plastic piece. But no one seems to sell it. As for the spears, Im thinking it would look great but what is drawing me back is that it is so mainstream. Everybody has it, and Im trying to make my car stand out a little. Im thinking of putting a pair of hash marks on there instead of spears, just a little more simple and different.
