From the exhausts I've heard in person, I would go with Borla or ford racing. Both sound mean as hell without the obnoxious drone. I personally have ford racing sports and love the tone.

I have a 2014 V6 Premium stang w/ bbk intake and pype bombs. When you accelerate it actually sounds pretty mean and very very loud.. It took me a while to get used to the idle but now I really love listening to my car.. I'm waiting on some bbk headers and throttle body to come from American muscle.. I'm excited to hear the difference If you would like i will upload a video in hopes that you can hear it a bit. Click image for larger version

I realize a v6 will never sound like a v8 but I've never had the chance to really hear a 3.7 with a good exhaust...is it worth putting a loud exhaust on a v6? I want one for mine but I'm worried about how it will sound...definitely don't wanna sound ricey

Its a hit or miss with the v6. Ive heard some exhausts that sound good on youtube but sound like *** in person. I got my exhaust done first few months and its been my fav mod so far. Last weekend I had a foxbody guy tell me my v6 sounded better than his stang, and he was running magnaflows. It all depends on the sound you're shootin for. I knew what i wanted mine to sound like so i went to a shop ad had mine done custom

I'll tell you this, if all you go for is loud, it'll sound like a shopping cart falling down a flight of stairs. Pypes is gonna give you a tinny sound. No doubt about it. Last week, a guy in a GT stopped me at a light just to talk about my exhaust. In order to make a V6 sound good, you need to focus on changing tone, not volume.

Depends on what you want it to sound like. I wanted a low deep tone but still mellow enough that when i do the rest of my exhaust its not gonna be overkill on the loudness. I went with a dynomax catback. Cost me $600 plus install and i couldnt be happier with it

This isnt my vid but thats the sound. Like the description says use headphones to hear the deep tone

Pypes pype bomb

I have the Pypes pype=bomb axlebacks on my 2012 v6 and I could not be happier with them. They roar from 2000-3500 RPM's and if you rev it at a stop they crackle and pop like thunder. They cost me $290 new, plus a $100 install because i was told they were tricky to get on. Almost half the price of any other AB on the market. I listened to youtube videos and did research for weeks and these sounded the best and also just happened to be half the cost of the others. I definitely recommend.
