Compression problems?

I just installed true dual exhaust from Metaflow on my 2010 V6. Now my car is idling around 600 RPM is this normal? I also have a BBK cold intake system on it.

Doesn't seem abnormal... what makes you think you've got low compression?

The idle isn't smooth at all and it just sounds like air coming out of the mufflers when it idles no real sound

That's called a quiet v6 exhaust man. Magnaflow isn't gona be too loud idling with just a catback dual exhaust.

I've had a single flowmaster american thunder axle back, dual exhaust with an x-pipe and stock GT mufflers, Pypes mid-muffler catback, and tomorrow I'm getting Flowmaster Super 10s put on instead of the mid mufflers. So out of those I'd say the mid muffler sounds amazing but I'm looking for something even more aggressive now

Wow haha, what did you think of the stock GT mufflers? I'm not going for real loud or anything

They had an amazing tone to them. Really deep and just had a good sound! But they weren't the loudest, they were quieter than my single flowmaster. If you want a mild exhaust that will give a pretty decent volume when you stomp it then I recommend those for sure

Yeah it sounds really similar to GT mufflers just slightly deeper and louder! But more expensive
