Dumping the clutch is a no no. With the 555R I would say 6k and a slimp dump after a decent burnout when the temps are above 60. 1.75X 60' should be attained with tire pressure around 25-28

Also NO TRACTION CONTROL

It all depends.... if you slip the clutch might burn it out but with nittos you shouldn't need to slip it, I do mine at around 3200 rpm dump it and press the gas according to how much its gripping my best was a 13.7 with a passanger same mods but regular stock tires. It depends on you.

You slip the clutch on a manual from pure shock.

WHat was your 60' foot time?

Exactly what I expected. You said you were "gripping" but with a 2.0-2.10 60' you definitely were not. See what I am saying? If your 60' times aren't low 1.9s or with practice, high 1.8s then the advice is moot because the results conflict with the advice.

You will not burn your clutch our slipping it for a split second.

1.9 on stock tires v6 with just a tune on 2.73?? Thats hard to believe... possible but rare, the 5.0 with tire and gears were getting a best of 1.9...? Note I didnt have drag radials like the op... worn out stock good years not even pirellis... on a cai and tune 2.73 I did hit 1.8-1.9 but once I got control arms better tires and shocks.... 1.8 on stock 3.7 with 2.73 thats really unheard from what ived seen from other people and at the track... no matter dumping or slipping the clutch

WHat do you mean a 5.0 with "tire"? Not street tires I hope.

You don't have to believe it for it to be true lol. I was just stating that 2.0-2.10 is not gripping by any means. May be the best most people will get but that doesn't mean it is good. Know what I mean? Doesn't have to be common.

The car has the power to pull a 1.9 on 2.73. Launching at 5 or 6k slip.

All I am saying is its hard to believe a stock 3.7 will hit 1.9, it might be possible but it would have to be in really good conditions. And to slip it at 6k... thats too much from what others slip at. Unless I see proof I cant see it happening with constant runs... as for the op it depends on what he is more comfortable at.
