I installed the bbk headers.. I don't recommend bbk for two reasons..
One is that the part will more then likely come rusted and secondly the parts tubing makes it difficult for installing.. If I could do it again I'd do the macs.. I went with bbk assuming they have superior work.. And that was not the case..

+1. I believe shorties are a good investment, they provide good low end tq where these car need it! But yeah go with the Macs for better quality.

Chrome retains heat more and adds more heat under the hood. Ceramic is better because it doesn't heat up and retain as much heat. The chrome also changes color.. The ceramic stays the same color..

Performance wise I would say so.. Because of the extra heat the is being released and sucked back up by your cold air intake ( warm air intake lol) but I originally bought the chrome.. I was broke and eager to put them on that I didn't want to wait to get additional 100 figured I could apply the extra 100$ to the installation cost.. I don't think it makes a big difference to be honest

Ive had both chrome and ceramic. Ceramic is worth every penny when it comes to reducing underhood temps and keepjng a good finsh. If you go with the macs they are really easy to install no special tools needed. They seemed to perform well but ive never riden in a car with the bbks so I cant compare.

Yeah I've been reading about the difference between the BBKs and MACs but no real major difference. If you hear anything else let me know.

Keep in mind that the MAC headers are NOT "CARB" approved. BBKs are I believe.

I put my short bbk headers on my ride and like a dumb A** I did not check the welds.. Well the whole time I had them there was a bad weld near the flange so they needed me to remove them to weld the bad weld.. So they were gonna charge once again to remove and to put back on.. I said screw that and sold my 2014 v6 and bout a 2016 GT lol... Let some else deal with it.. I'm still trying to get rid of my borla s Type Axel back tho

BBK had that weld problem a while back. You would think it would not happen again. There are a few people on this forum that had the same problems with BBK.
What the heck is wrong with these larger company's that have "NO" quality control.
Installing headers is not the easiest job and to have to do it twice, """BUMMER"""

I am guessing you missed the post about the Macs not lining up, that was not the first post I have seem like that either.
BTW, I was 1 of the first to have to replace mine for a weld issue, but at least they went on the car and the rest of the exhaust bolted up.

The ceramic will outlive the chrome. Why shorties and not long tubes?
