Fog Light Grille Oracles

I own a 2014 mustang v6 with the standard honeycomb grille. I have always liked the look of the Gt style fog lights and am determined on getting oracle halo lights for them. But like always, something else caught my attention, The Mustang in the resent movie Need for speed had the grille minus the fog lights and just placing oracle alone any thoughts or opinions ?!?

I'm going to revive this. I was wondering if anyone had done this before as well. Debating between the oracle ccfls or the plasmas. If so how easy is the install if you don't put it in head/fog lights and just install these.

Edit: Also this thread might want to be moved.

Right now I'm waiting on my GT grille to come in. But what I have in mind is a modification of the need for speed version. I plan on doing the boss 302 fog deletes except make it like http://forums.themustangsource.com/a...109_095311.jpg
so that I can maximize airflow while keeping rocks and bugs out. Then using the Oracle lights like the need for speed stang.

The above mod just uses some like metal grate type mesh painted black/plastidipped and just formed into the foglight. Simple, cheap, and effective.

I decided to pull the trigger and got them installed about 2 weeks ago. I ordered a gt grille and made my own boss 302 delete kit that I placed the oracles on and it is pretty effective. And looks great

Fog Light Grille Oracles

I would get the entire fog light with a halo. That mustang was a one off build for the movie alone. Many parts of it cannot be found anywhere. But I do like the combination of the delete with oracles above me ^^^

How'd you decide to do the grille delete? Do you have any other pictures? Looks pretty bad *** are these the ones that change. Also any install tips, I'm just waiting for the grille and the halos to come in.

Yeah I've been traveling so I've been away from my baby. But I'll post some close ups tomorrow. Unfortunately my oracles got messed up somehow and there are a few out hopefully I can get them replaced.

To be honest I think 8k would work but 10k might be a better match. When I replace mine though I'm going for 8k because 10k is too blue to my taste on normal lights.

Jonyou how did you attach those? I am looking to do the same and I really didn't want to pay 500 dollars or more for a gt grille with fog lights since I want the deletes anyway.

Sorry for the late response but k actually used permatex ultra black gasket maker haha. I can confirm it definitely lasts through high (100+) and low (-10) temps. As for my oracles probably some high speed bugs messed them up. Im still debating between just keeping fog deletes or reinstalling oracles. They looked sick when they worked.

I got that backwards.
125 is for 13-14
145 is for 10-12

I helped a guy out with some for his 14, and his were 125.

Unless the oracles are being put in an enclosure get the ones alrefire got. The oracles are water proof but after awhile the weather will strip the plastic covering and your oracles won't work after awhile.

Well I got it done tonight. 125mm rings were the perfect size. I decided not to put mesh behind the lights for now, maybe work on that tomorrow after I decide if it bothers me without it.
