2011 Manual noise

Sorry if someone has already posted about this. I went through about six pages and didn't see it. I bought my v6 about two years ago, and have notice over the past year that when I shift from 1st to 2nd there is a metallic clicking noise. I have made sure that I have the clutch all the way to the floor and perform a good solid shift and it still happens. It doesn't happen every time, but most of the time.
I did see that someone mention what seems to be a similar noise @ 10 mph ,but I am doing probably 20 when I hear it in mine.
If anyone knows or has any ideas of what it could be, please let me know. Thanks!

I would think so. I don't believe any modifications were done to the car before I got it. Would that sound come from under the car? It's hard to explain where I hear it, but I know it's not in the cabin. It sounds like it's under the car. I guess I need to have someone stand on the street and shift as I drive by, that may help isolate the location.
Just curious, but how would the stock shifter bracket make that noise?
Thank you for your response, 3.7

It sounds like the normal notchiness between 1st and 2nd that these built in China transmissions are known for. I've changed the shifter bracket and mine still does it from time to time. Nothing to really worry about, just the nature of the beast.

Was it a noise or something you could feel in the clutch pedal? I don't have any noises but every so often I'll feel some little disturbance in the pedal kinda like it wasn't hydraulic but more like a cable clutch!?

Thanks for the information guys. I do have an update today after driving around a bit this morning. The noise is definitely under the care and towards the back. It happens when you pull the car out of first gear and before you put it in second. It almost sounds like its coming from the exhaust, but its hard to tell while driving.

Another update on my issue. I turned off the traction control today, and the noise coming out of first has stopped. Does that make any sense to anyone? I only turned TC off because of reading another thread on here about the benefits and wanted to give it a shot. I wasn't expecting the noise to completely stop.
