S mode 2014

I always hear bad things about the automatic transmissions but I was driving earlier and decided to switch gears in S. I am actually impressed my car was moving and it was hella fun. ...

The auto will hold 800hp. Proven in the 5.0s. I'd own the auto over the crap mt82 any day.

The mt-82 is not crap. Its hit or miss. #1 thing to do is change fluid immediately after buying the car. No problems out of mine. I will be swapping to a auto though.

Maybe in a v6, throw some bigger torque numbers and it's a ticking time bomb.

Only thing that was a ticking time bomb on mine so far and decided to blow. Has been the stock motor and the axle tubes.

The current Auto trans has made stick shifts irrelevant for most people the same way the 3.7 V6 has made the V8 irrelevant for most people.

I tested out an automatic 5.0 befofe buying mine and I was like "I've always been driving stick and I've heard that for bigger hp gains automatic is more suitable" but I wasnt conviced.

And if I go 700whp+ Ill considered the gt500 tranny. Which might lead to sell an organ to buy it. Speakin of which, anyone knows if gt500 fits to the 5.0 block?
