Looks really good, almost like some of the factory charcoal rims. Gets a thumbs up from me.

It looks really good. Makes me want to do the same. I also see you put cards in the spokes. Interesting mod. Did it give your car a nice "roar?"

How did you apply the plastidip? Based on the picture it looks like you sprayed it. I think I am going to buy some to make my wheels black. Just want to know what application give then such a smooth look.

I used plastidip from dipyourcar.com not too sure if it's different from the ones you can pick up from Home Depot. But the one I got worked great!

I took my wheels off just to take off the center caps then put the wheel back on to spray them. Used about 6 coats, waiting about 15min between each. I found it was a lot better to leave the wheel on and put tape over the lug nuts. if you want to keep the same color and not Spray them. Make sure you cover your rotors an stuff with a bag behind the wheel.

If you go on dipyourcar.com there's plenty of videos that go step by step , that's where I learned

I used the deck of cards so I wouldn't get any plastidip on my tires

First mod to my 2013 V6!

Ahhh, Plastidip done right. Too often it ends up looking like utter crap. But I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between these and a set of factory charcoal rims! Excellent work. And for gods sake, thank you for taking the time to cover the center caps before you did it!

Thumbs up VERY NICE!

Gotta know, how many decks of playing cards did it take for all 4 wheels? That is the most unique and inventive way of masking off the tires I've ever seen and it makes perfect sense

I used less than 2 full decks! My intent was index cards but I found these around my house and figured why not give them a try

I would not recommend plastidip for that, however.

Very nice job. What color were the wheels to begin with?

Did you use dipyourcar's wheel kit? Which color did you use - was it the metal flake? I have a white Mustang with the same wheels and they would look good on my white as well.
