Caliper Painting

So recently I painted my calipers with the Dupicolor brush on paint kit. To me it looks cheap, so like I should have done from the beginning Im taking off the calipers to properly paint them. Im just going to spray them with some high temp paint.

Heres my question though, is there a way to smooth out the finish on the calipers? If you look at them youll notice they have a "texture to them, what would be a good method to get rid of that?
