Ordered Raxiom smoked projection halo headlights!

Just received my new goodie package from American Muscle. Good lord they are fast. They had my order to my house the next business day , however I'm not that far from them being in Maryland.

Can't wait to get them installed. Wanting these for a while now. Also ordered a set of 35W 6000k HID's to help with the light output.

I'm hoping my pony's new headlights looks as good as AM's picture does. Those Raxiom smoked halo projection headlights are bad a$$.

Sent from my little Johnson.

They will definitely look as good as advertised. My girlfriend's brother got them for his 2010 GT and they look insane.

The only picture I have is the one my girlfriend took and filtered, unfortunately. But here's the picture so you can get an idea. (2014 on the left is my new purchase )

2011 Kona,

Awesome! Glad to hear they showed up so quickly. You're going to love the Raxiom Headlights. As you know I have them in my 2011 GT and absolutely love them! I also went with the 35W 6K HID's to improve the light output a bit.

Definitely post up some pictures once you get them installed. We would love to check out the finished product! I bet these headlights are going to look sick sitting right above your Raxiom DRL's.

Dan,
I can't wait for them to be installed. I thought you had 35W 6000k HID's which if it works for you, its got to be great. Lol. I think the Raxiom halo's will look amazing with my Raxiom DRL's and give a look different than many other stangs.

I will most definitely post pictures up and give a full write up review. Lol. Speaking of a review, I did a sweet detailed full review of the Raxiom DRL's install months ago and its still not up and there are no reviews of them. Dan FYI- AM did put my pictures up but no review.

Thanks bro. It should look bad a$$. I actually don't see any mustangs in my area with the Raxiom halo's so mine should definitely stand out with them especially with the Raxiom DRL's on the car.

They look good I have them in that exact setup. (Smoked with Morimoto 6k HIDs and relay)

But a couple things you should know from my experience:

1) Visibility is....not great. The smoked lens and the fact the "projector" is not meant for HIDs, they're meant for the halogen bulbs they come with. ESPECIALLY if you don't aim them properly. MAKE SURE YOU AIM THEM.

2) As far as the wiring harness for the halo, I would suggest soldering versus the crappy little splicer clamps. I soldered mine along with the switchback bulbs for my turn signals at the same time.

3) If it's humid where you are, they will probably fog up a little. This is supposed to go away but if it doesn't take a hair dryer to them to dry them out and make sure there are no holes in the seal. If it doubt just grab some silicone and get it in the crease between the plastic lens and housing. DO NOT keep the hairdryer or a heat gun on the housing too long. It CAN melt. If it's too hot to touch, stop for a while.

4) Don't get cheap HIDs. I got a $60 Ebay set for the hell of it. Things were garbage. Ballasts overheat, the bulb separated from the housing of the bulb. I ended up getting a MUCH higher quality Morimoto kit for $156 with a relay.

Thanks bro for the info. What do you use to measure the correct height for the proper aim of them? So even with your HID's of 35w its not good light output? Wow!

Has anyone though about trying to do halo projector fog lights in the grill? I'm working on the assumption you all have seen need for speed movie. Like the lights on that mustang but on a 2014 v6. Opinions?
