My turn for the 'my new mustang' thread!

Got this 2014 puppy 3 weeks ago. Been posting on here a little bit. This is my first mustang (2nd car overall. upgraded from a 2001 camry). Definitely a good upgrade and difference in drive lol.

The first picture is at home, fresh from the dealership.

The following pictures after that are after my first mod (35% tint all around)

Saving up for more stuff I'm looking at the roush upper/lower grille and a gt500 spoiler. Haven't quite decided yet.

Welcome to the addiction! I just got my first mustang after driving a 1999 grand am for 10 years. Loving the switch myself as well. I joined a few months ago and everyone here is great and I've gotten great feedback on some of questions I've had. Again, welcome.

enjoy it brah,

i also upgraded from 2002 honda accord coupe to this and i am in love.

i had the car for two months and already put 4000 miles on it still love it just as much as when i got it.

Also my first upgrade was a 35 tint all around and 70% at the front and a front stripe.

I also blacked out my back lights as you can see in my picture.

My next upgrade will be to paint my wheels black and i think i will be done after that.

How is the black treating you? I am about a month into ownership on my DIB 14 GT and I have to clean it weekly because it looks awfully dirty but I think the black looks mean as hell too.

Thanks all.

As to keeping it clean, yea... I try to wash it once a week at least. If there is no bird poop etc then I might just give it a quick gentle rinse.

I drive my Camry every now and then when I have to go to areas that require parallel parking or just overall horrible roads and it's so depressing to lose all that power I'm used to in the mustang lol.

Hahah i know what you mean i was my every Saturday. The car is beautiful when it gets a wash and i do the same thing as you most of the time. I just pressure wash it with water and then go on highway do 75mph which does a pretty good job drying it.

that's a good lookin pony you got there!! Lol stay away from these forums.. They make you spend $$ haha jk jk.. But after reading all these reviews man I wanted to buy everything for my stang lol..

Americanmuscle.com is a great place to look into for future mods.. This was my order in mods ..

Tint - cold air intake - axel back - sound system - bama tuner - bbk short headers - bbk throttle body ... Anything else I do now will just be for visuals

I would definitely get the gt500 style spolier I just put it on last week. You also should get some exhaust, tune, and a CAI. Click image for larger version

That spoiler looks slick! Are you stock axel backs?

No, I have roush axle backs. I would highly recommend them. I was at a car meet a couple days ago and everyone thought it was a 5.0 until I popped the hood.

Hey Will, do you happen to have a video of how your exhaust sounds ? That's definitely the spoiler that I want when I can.

From what I hear the short headers will deepen the tone so I am excited to get those bad boys installed
