Are you looking to transfer the weight to the rear wheels quicker for the dragstrip?

You could go with oem gt springs in the front. DO NOTE: Doing this will make a major change to how the car will handle. And May put extra strain on the car.

Costly and not easy to do

You will need longer springs, Plus you will need different shocks. Then it will need to be custom aligned.
This was called a "CALIFIORNIA RAKE" in the old days. I guess you already know that your car will ride and handle like crap and not brake very well after doing this stupid mod.
I can think of safer and cheaper ways to mod a Mustang to look different.

What may be the wrong suggestion.....but what about 15" drag wheels on back? It'll jack the front.

That won't raise it much

That is a good suggestion Strange Mud but it won't really look good or raise the front enough to make much difference. To look good like the OP wants it to requires longer springs and shocks. I can't think of any other way because if he lowers the rear end enough to change the looks he will have all kinds of drivshaft and rubbing problems. He still may have a driveshaft problem raising the front end enough to notice.
I know the OP wants that California Gasser look but without spending a lot of money it just won't happen.
Anything can happen if you can just throw enough $$$$$ at it.

No the pp v6 use different springs then the gt the gt springs or rated for the extra weight of the v8 and others items. Therefore when used on a v6 the front end will set about an inch higher.

Lets ask the OP

Hey AARON !
How much of a lift are you thinking ? When I think about lifting a front end I'm thinking at least 12 to 15 inches. Anything less then that would not be very noticeable.
What are you thinking?
Ronnie

You have to understand that this really is a bizarre thing you want to do. Im not going to bash it because thats the joy of modding, we do what we like. On the other hand, you cant expect people to take this too seriously because it is so far "out of the box". Im guessing your young and I dont know how much experience you have with forums, but when you have an idea like this you better get used to being flamed...

I wish you luck and Ill be looking for some pics.

Are you trying to lift just the front and not the back? Are you wanting the car to be pointing upward? How much higher are you looking for the front to be than the back? It is very confusing to visualize what exactly you are trying to do.

I have not seen anybody bash him yet.

He just needs to give us some information if he wants answers.
I asked this:

I went back through all the responses and I think he was offended by your earlier response below:

"This was called a "CALIFIORNIA RAKE" in the old days. I guess you already know that your car will ride and handle like crap and not brake very well after doing this stupid mod.

I just don't think I would do something so out-of-the-box on such a new car. If he ever needs to sell it, the value will be drastically reduced as well as a pool of people to purchase it. I'm not saying that to bash, either. Just speaking reality. If he wants to do this, he would be better off on an older car that has already drastically depreciated.

In the end, people will do whatever they want. It's their money, not mine.

This would be something to do on an old beater to just plain out have fun and laugh at, OP the reason it would be different is because no one in their right mind who is a mustang enthusiast would do this to their baby! IMO I don't understand why,
A- Someone would want to do this to a mustang.
B- Actually spend money to make their mustang look like that.
Good luck with your build but expect a lot of wtf's whenever you drive it somewhere. Different it will be!

Lol, my suggestion, buy an F-150 and add a lift kit, and your golden! BTW not only does lowering your car look great to 99.9% of the human population it also improves the handling of the car. Like someone already mentioned not only will raising the front end of a mustang look ridiculous it will also handle terrible and brake awful! Not to mention visibility out the front window I'm guessing would also suck, but hey what do we know!? I say go for it and post some pics of that bad boy when your done, I'm sure we would love to see it.

Don't really need much wheel gap for the rally look.

Just trade that 2014 for an '04, they look like 4x4 s from the factory.

Just buy front springs for the GT, put them on the 6'er and be done with this ridiculousness/stupidity.

strange i know

They do make spacers that go in to the top and bottom of your spring mounts and you could possibly fabricate some kind of additional spacer that connects to the spring mount and seats the spring in it to get separation. We did that with a 4x4 van before and it wasn't too hard and lifted it about two inches in the front.

Only problem is that your steering and suspension geometry will be jacked. The car will essentially be useless for turning, stopping, and accelerating with any sorta intent other than grandma speeds. Not to mention it'll probably be squirrley as heck on the interstates.

I don't condemn your idea but I will say you'll have to get your entire steering/front end suspension geometry re-engineered. You are talking money to do it right. A lot more than you expect.

I'm pretty sure the GT springs are the same length but just heavier duty. I don't think they will make a noticeable difference.

Except that they are made for the weight of the V8, putting it in the V6 will give the front a lift, maybe not much, but it will lift it.
