2014 v6 power

Ok so I bought myself a 2014 3.7 mustang I've installed as steeda cold air intake along with the bama 93 race tune I plan on putting an offroad x pipe does anyone have a idea of what my hp/tq are now and what the x pipe gains are?

You'll definitely be seeing some big gains. The 2011+ V6's really accepts modifications well!

How are you enjoying the CAI and Bama tune so far?

The power on your car could vary. It's tough to put a number on it because of location, location of the dyno, weather etc.. But check out the 2011 V6 Project Car that we built! This should give you a good idea on what you can expect..

I hope this helps!

With your 2014 being a manual transmission, they usually make around 280-290rwhp with a CAI and custom tune. Throw a catless mid-pipe into the mix and you'll see another 10rwhp throughout the power band. All said and done, you'll be very close to 300rwhp with this setup. You'll also see an even smoother power band with BBK shorty headers paired with your catless Xpipe. Since the factory exhaust manifolds are very restrictive.

Do you plan on trapping the car down to a dyno just to see power output? If so, you'll have to post up your dyno graph and show us how everything went!

I think the tune is wrong because every couple days I get a check engine light for bank 1 running to lean I retune it and the light is gone can the neutral rev limiter on the strategy tune be embedded in the 93 performance tune ?

I see you're still having this issue. Have you datalogged your tune yet or seen if it happens with a different tune loaded? This could turn into a big issue down the road if something really is wrong with the vehicle. The reason the retune clears it is because tuning the PCM clears your KAM or Keep Alive Memory. The same thing would happen if you just disconnect your battery for a bit. Maybe you should worry about getting your car back to tip top shape before looking at more mods.

Do you think once I get gears driveshaft and x pipe I could beat a 2012 m3?

You definitely want to get this looked out before adding more mods to the car. It's always best of modify a car that's 100% mechanically sound, otherwise you'll be chasing your tail trying to figure out what's what.

The code resets every time you reload the tune, because that clears the KAM memory. If you're only getting a lean code on bank 1 and not bank 2, than it sounds like you either have an exhaust leak or a bad O2 sensor. If the tune were off, you would have a lean code for both banks equally.

I highly suggest getting this worked out at a shop before moving forward with mods. If you continue to drive the car hard without assessing the CEL, you could potentially damage your engine.

A stock m3 runs 1/4 mile in about 12.5 seconds. I don't think its even possible for a mustang v6 to run that without forced induction.

Instead of bench racing and trying to beat up your neighbor get your car running right as your car is trying to tell you something.

They can't. Only with FI. Even then, it would need suspension work to get that consistently I'd think.

Psh, that's great for a V6. Not so good news for one of my friends who wants to drag race me on his V6 once he supposedly gets a supercharger, and installation, for 2K from a dealership owned by a family friend. Just give me a tune and I'd still beat him every time.

No way his suspension could handle that unless he mods it, which he has said nothing about doing... kids I know, or ones from my school make me laugh so hard sometimes.

If they dig into it, the dealership will still be able to see that the car's ecu programming was altered even if you return it to stock. No way around it.
