Bama metal plate placement

Lol I was just curious because I've tried to put my bama plate almost everywhere and can't decide.. First was in my dash but worries the sun will damage it second was in front of passenger seat but if airbags go off there's shrapnel to the face lol and then the middle console was my last idea.. So I wanted to see where everyone else put their bama plates post pics please!!! Click image for larger version

How long have you had it there? And has the heat done anything to it?

On the plastic rad cover, under the hood obviously. No issue with the heat.

I've always thought they looked the best under the hood on the radiator cover myself. Although, I like the idea of installing it onto the CAI heat shield. That's a little more unique, yet still a normal looking spot.

How about under the hood on top of the fuse box?

That's exactly what I did. Just cleaned the plastic and stuck it on -- a year later still there and feels solid.

BTW, it's a perfect fit.

The only downside of having it under the hood is when you take your car to the dealer to get serviced there is a possibility they could see it even if you reverted back to stock tune... So I might be taking mine off and using Velcro strips

Even returning the car back to stock won't erase the footprint the tune leaves so if the dealership wants to check they will find out!

Because it leaves a footprint on your ecu of the time it was flashed. There is not way to hide if a car has been tuned!

They can easily find the tune.. It's only a matter of looking lol but I am 100% sure a bama performance tune plate will be enough reason to look for that foot print lol I'm hopen they believe I'm a noob and I wouldn't know anything about that

They'll most likely look regardless!

---------- Post added at 12:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:48 PM ----------

This is true..a tune won't automatically void the warranty but it can be the reason!

On the wall in my garage with all the other plates and stickers I've gotten over the years from vendors.

When I get a monthly check from them for advertising their name on my car, they'll get a spot on it (car).

First to come off when I take delivery of a new vehicle is the dealerships decal. I inform them to tell the detailer not to install it, but sometimes it gets ignored.

The dealer will always know if the car was tuned or not.
