Electric cut out kit?

Has anyone installed these? I'm looking into buying the kit AM offers, I like the option to be able to quiet the exhaust down if cops are near by lol. Would this benefit in any other way besides being able to quiet the exhaust?

How loud would it make my current exhaust set up? I have bbk o/r x pipes and borla s ab's. So it just makes your exhaust louder? No horsepower?

Yeah I will probably do the same and have them welded. I'm going to pull the trigger and buy them and have them installed once I have some more money.
