How do you Launch?

Hello everyone, I've been driving a 2014 v6 for a while now and i am comfortable enough to where i can mess around now. I've been wanting to know how to launch properly. As well as the rpm range the care should be in?

Too many variables ... You just need to give it enough throttle to get enough wheelspin and not bog. That's it.

For me, around 2,500 - 3,500 rpm usually works.

Is your Mustang a manual or automatic? Are you trying to launch at the drag strip?

The object of launch hard is to barely have wheel spin. You certainly don't want to bog the car down, but excessive spinning will kill your time. This is the most common mistake I see from other enthusiasts, whom think excessive wheel spin is better than not spinning at all.

If you're headed to the track, than I have a few more tips for you to cut the best ET's and 60's. Let me know your transmission and I'll see if I can help you!
