Boss Grille on 13 V6

I haven't removed my grille but I've read the posts here regarding changing grilles on the V6. I'm considering the Boss grille for my 13 V6 but does anyone know if the grille surround, which is required on a V6 to install the Boss grille, is the same as the GT surround?

It should be, I just installed the gt upper and lower grille on my 14v6. Looking at the boss the only difference is the center emblem. Im putting the fog light deletes on my grille so it will basically be the same as the boss but with a different center emblem.

Correction, 13 &14 GT and boss use the same surround, the v6 is different, but once you get a GT surround the grilles are all interchangeable.

...but removing the center from the surround looked to me like a one way deal, unless you have the patience of job.

Is the surround physically different or is it just chrome versus black?

I like the center emblem on the Boss versus the pony on the V6 and the GT, and I like the look of the fog light deletes. The surround required to do this adds $170 to the $279 for the grille. I guess it's not that bad to get what one wants. Is it common for a GT owner to sell their surround? Do they need it if they upgrade their grille?
