JL audio c2-570x speaker upgrade 2014 V6

I have a 2014 V6 with the premium package and looking to replace all 4 speakers. I am looking to see if anyone has installed jl audio c2-570x in the front doors. I am getting mixed answers as to if they fit or not.

Then no, they will not be a direct fit. You can make them fit by modifying the speaker mount or you can buy the speaker mounts for a 2010 GT. They are around 14.00 a piece.

Are you swapping out the head unit too? I did just speakers and to be honest it didnt make enough of a difference with the stock HU. The premium speakers really arent that bad when used with the stock HU.

Ah great, you wouldn't happen to have a link for the mounts would ya?

No I'm wanting to keep the stock HU but I am adding a 4 channel amp with them so I think that should compensate.

The reason I'm replacing the speakers in the first place is because he stocks don't do a good job at keeping up with my 13 JLw3v3 in the back.

Let me see if I can find the part number for you...

If you're looking to find some speakers to keep up with the sub I wouldnt do those. I would invest in a decent 5.25" comp set up and get these

Amazon.com : Metra 82-5601 Universal Speaker Adaptor Plates : Vehicle Speakers : Car Electronics

The 5x7's just cant take very power and since the stock HU has no crossover points I dont think you'll get the results youre looking for.
