Has anyone done the Fuse 47 Changeover to Relay

I'm just wondering if anyone else has made this modification. I've had mine installed for about a month without any negative effects. And, my tune appears to be exactly as intended. Anyone else make the mod?

Resets the adaptive shifting every time you turn your car off so you don't have to pull the fuse manually.

Oh I see. So this would be for a auto tranny?

You should make a few and sell them.

Actually, it is so simple that anyone can make one. It's not difficult at all.

Mostly for automatic but some manual guys have seen a slight difference after pulling it.

Is there a step by step on how to do this?

I'd really like to not have to unplug that fuse once a week, and I don't had the dough to she'll out for a tuner at the moment.

If you don't have a tuner, it's not really an issue for you. This is for folks whose Tunes get "watered down" by the adaptive learning system since none of the tuning companies can disable it currently.

I was wondering if it made much difference without a tune. Thanks for clearing that up.

Wait, I thought the tune overrides the TCM relearning.

What would be the point of a tune if the car relearns the stock parameters?

There is no way to disable the "adaptive shifting" which is the part in which the automatic learns your driving style and does so to get mpg.

The tune is still there with more aggressive ignition timing, camshaft advancing, more fuel, better shifting response.
