Mid pipe only driving

Do you think it would be bad to drive with only headers and mid pipe? When doing my headers I started the car with only that attached and it sounds pretty good in my opinion.

What you can do is get a muffler delete, basically it is a pipe that extends the midpipe so it looks like you have mufflers. I know Pypes sells one for a few hundred for our cars

Yeah, but your 3V GT has a completely different tone than the 4V V6.

Take it for one trip down the road and your buzzing head will tell you how bad of an idea it is.

Depending on where you live idk how good of an idea that would be you would have a lot of "happy" neighbors lol but if it would be a o/r mud pipe I would just get mufflers deletes so that it exits from under the car at least if you get stuck in traffic often

OP-That's a good question and while it wouldn't be the end of the world I can attest to the decibel level and the amount of noise it's going to throw! It's cool for about 20 minutes and then the headache's start and they're painful! If anything I would recommend doing a Pypes-Pype Bomb if you're looking to wake the dead. It's going to be more than enough noise but not something where you're going to hate the idea of needing to take an hour trip outside of town.

Let me know if you have any questions and I hope this helps!

If ya wanna kill your self just get a gun

I guess you don't understand that when your exhaust lets the gas out directly under your car the Corbin monoxide has a very good chance of leaching into the cabin. A very good way to kill your self or your passengers. It mainly happens while sitting at a traffic light when the car is not moving.

Just get a streight pipe that will run out the back or the side of your car to be safe.

Just dont do it. The fumes will be bad for you and the drone will make you mental. If you want loud just do the Roush AB's.

Talked to American muscle and they should be on there way. Driving with only the mid pipe helps me forget about my exhaust leak haha. Also sent the posts about other peoples bbk issues and hopefully that does some good. I'm so ready to finally be done with my headers.

If you wanted the chrome ones they're in stock. Ceramics been out of stock for a month. I'm glad I didn't sell mine they're performing and sounding better the more miles I put on them. Now if the pro chamber would go on sale
