I think im gunna go to a local muffler shop to get some 18" glasspack resonators installed. Can't stand the raspy tone I get after 3k rpms. I love how loud my exhaust is just hopin to change the rasp

If the Magnaflows you're running are chambered, 18" resonators should do the job well. I've got Pype bombs, so I went with the longer 22" resonators. Definitely glad I did haha.

The resonators got rid of nearly all of it. You'll never be able to completely get rid of the rasp just due to how the 4V modular engines are. Even the Coyotes have a bit of rasp if you listen to certain exhaust setups.

Are you sure they are 22"? Because my 18" resonators really measured 22"

Yes, 22" (full length of 26"). They had a 2" piece of pipe on either side of the resonator.

Sent from the future.

Yeah. They get rid of a bit more rasp than the 18"-ers since there's more resonator material that the exhaust must pass through.

Would it be safe just to go with them instead of the 18's? All I want in an off-road h with resonators and roush axle back

When I did resonators it made it sound like a honda. Hated it. My opinion is why muffle the engine with 4 mufflers? You take away from the v6. Just my .02. I'm going pro chamber, s type. It's gonna be loud and I'll be proud
