Super Snake Stripes...

Just picked up my Mustang from the vinyl guy. I am really happy with the way it turned out...

Almost any color stripe can go with black, same with white. Black on black is pretty cool and subtle if you want something that is only seen when someone is paying attention.

Looks great. I really want to do this but I'm not sure I'd be able to do it so it looks nice. How much did you pay for the install?

When I was talking to the installer yesterday, he told me he could do the spoiler, but there is a chance the vinyl would lift around the Gurney Flap. Just because of the different curves, etc. We looked at it and thought maybe if he just put the vinyl on the Flap area and keep the rest solid, it might make it stand out more. I actually like the look of it...

The vinyl was about $440 and the install was about $290. I was going to try and tackle it myself. but I really wanted it done right. This installer is very highly recommended by the Mustang Club here in Tucson...It was a little pricey, but he did an incredible job...

OP-

Lookin' Good! I'm loving the Matte on Deep Impact. This makes me want a blue stang badly! If anyone else is interested AM carries a wide variety of stripes here and our Super Snake kits are included!

Let me know if anyone is to have any questions and I'm here to help!

Total was about $780. The guy that installed them is highly recommended by the club here in town. He takes his time and goes above and beyond what I have seen from dealer installed stripes.

I was hesitant on the matte black, I was actually going to go with a metallic charcoal that matches my Perf Package wheels, but finally decided on the matte black. I think I made the right choice...

Maybe, maybe not. About $440 for material, $300 for install, the rest for taxes. I thought about doing it myself, but didn't want to tackle that big of a job.

It is the '66 Mustang 2+2 emblem...I did it because it reminds me so much of my old '66 that I sold 14 years ago. I know Ford calls these cars coupes, but to me they really look like the '65 - '66 Fastbacks that I dearly love...

That's a nice touch. Neat to see you mixing the old with the new.

That has been my goal with this car. I put the classic style louvers on, the new style tri bar fender emblems, with the 2+2 to give it that '66 look. I also put a '66 glove box emblem on the brushed aluminum passenger side dash panel...

That is a very hard decision if it was my choice I might just go with gold to stand out.

Have the installer cut the stripe short of the actual gurney flap, then continue down.
