New Here

Hey guys, new here. Just thought I would introduce myself. I come from a car family (a strictly Fo.Mo.Co. family...) and I own a Black 2014 v6 Manual Trans, it is my daily driver. Bought it in the beginning of May. We also own a 66 GT Fastback.

My v6 was given to me as a gift, it is baseline and has no bells or whistles for the most part. I added white vinyl hash marks, nobody around where I live has them so it really makes my car stand out. I also added a keyless entry code pad and black weathertech mats (which I love!). Next on the list to get is a new shifter knob. I also want a new grille, side scoops, exhaust tips, speakers/sub, and many, MANY more things (the list doesn't stop growing).

Where would you guys recommend buying a shifter knob from? American Muscle's are fine but they look cheap in the pictures. CJ Pony parts has them that are little more expensive than I was hoping but look nice, I really like the grey knob with the black LeMans stripes.

Just bought the white knob from AM for 29.99. Great knob for the price I have a 2014 v6 also. If you don't have an aftermarket shifter bracket I would purchase that also I can speak for the Barton it's a great upgrade

Don't forget a nice GT500 spoiler on your list I've got the black tri-bar shift knob and while it does look a little 'cheap' in the pictures, it looks much better in person. I think the reason it looks cheap is because of the plastic retainer that it sits on. The knob itself looks good.

I do love the cdc grille!

And on the AM shifter, what looked cheap in the pictures was the engraving, how does it look in person?

Welcome!

I bought the brushed aluminum knob from AM, I assure you. It's not cheap. It's a well made, solid knob. It has a way better feel than the stock.

New Here

Alright, here are four knobs I'm looking at. The engraving/numbers look higher quality on the latter two. I don't know if it is just the pictures or maybe the fonts? Do any of you guys with an AM shifter knob have a picture of yours that I could see? Or really anyone with an aftermarket shifter knob I would love to see

Welcome....I have the last one in D.I.B. to match my stang. Got it from CJ Pony Parts. Installed it with the MGW short shifter which I highly recommend! I love both!

Welcome to the forum. Nice cars, both of them, especially the '66. Love the red. You can try these guys for shift knobs, little pricey though.

AJcruz1: love your shift knob! I'm really leaning towards a black with white version of yours from CJ. What boot retainer do you have?

Awesome, found the site. In all the pictures, they have reverse to the right instead of the left, did you special order yours to get it w/ reverse on left?
