Is the 2014 S197 a short run model

Came across this info , orders for the 2014 began Nov 2013 and the last built was this past Friday Jun 20 2014. That makes it a 9 month car , is this a short run for a model year for a Mustang ?

Won't know for sure until Ford releases the final stats, but seeing as how it may have stopped earlier than the 2011 to 2013 run, I'd say it would be safe to assume it is.

I'm thinking your start date is off. Ford (at least on Stangs) has been selling them early....I ordered my 2012 in April of 2011. By the end of July is when they started on late build 2012s.

Yep. From what I've seen, the last year of a body style tends to run a lil longer. If it weren't for the redesign, I bet you'd already see 2015s on the lot.

I was comparing the 2012 and the 2013 on lots in April of 2012. In the area, it was actually impossible to find a 12- all the dealers only had 13s. When my guy in Cleveland got mine (simple, just a black standard v6 with the spoiler) the closest one was 273 miles away.

My 2014 was built in April 2013. So guess that proves that it will have been produced for over 12 months

If , and that is IF the last S197 would have been a short run model , 50 years from now a rare model due to less # built

My 14 has a build date of April 2013. So it was at least that early.

Seriously though, I think the '14s had a longer run than the '13s.

And yet, you probably could've found it quicker yourself. I myself found it within about 5 minutes. Will I link it, probably not. I'd rather a man learn how to fish rather than be handed a fish.

That's mainly why I didn't give the info. I'm not going to give a member model year info they can easily get themselves, that's just laziness.

If it was a part question, well, that's different.

I don't have inside info that isn't already out. Just from looking online, you can see when they started and ended production on the 13
