With the car being white and it being dark out even during the day you can't really tell the damage to the hood unless you see it your self

I honestly don't have the security package so I wouldn't know if that would trigger the alarm.. I keep my car in my garage lol.. I don't trust this happening to me.. Lot of haters!

Does the security package has a shock sensor? If so, is it adjustable? Two important questions.

I hope you filed a police report. Also, a good investment would be security cameras at the front of your house and your driveway. I'm sorry that this happened. The truth is it is most likely someone you know that did this. A vengeful ex could have done it or gotten their new significant other to do it. A jealous ex-friend, someone you got into a fight with, etc. 90% of cases like these it is someone you know. Deff. get those security cameras, a few hundred $ will give you peace of mind.

the OEM has a shock sensor.....it is adjustable. If you use the key in the door to arm it the sensor is disabled. To look up how to adjust sensor try a Google search..the mfr is "Code Alarm" I think. When they talk about the LED look under the drivers left side kick panel.

sorry about the damage that has to be depressing and to make it even worse crappy neighbors........

Was it a kid or an adult? Do you have any problems with them? Did you let the police know you know who it is even though the witness won't come forward? Maybe they might have some suggestions on handling it. If it's a smaller town without an overburdened department, may they would go over there and talk to the culprit and see if anything comes of it.

Also, I would be concerned that if they get away with this it won't be the last time. Some people keep going until they get caught.

Salas, if you cant find it I'll look but I wont be able to for a few days let me know if you need me to....I got the instructions from codealarm. I did have to register with them but it was just email and they didn't spam me. I put in the factory alarm myself and remember adjusting the sensor.

You sure are way better at controlling your self then I would be.

I know what I would do I would go over and ask the neighbor "WHY"??? and ask for a nice apology or apologize if I did something to offend him/her. Maybe take the neighbor out to dinner or do something nice for him or her.(What ever gender)
That is just what I would do. Yep, That's what I would really do.

I feel like if you have the security package an alarm should go off if someone is using your hood as a trampoline.

I would have a talk with Ford about this.

Not completely following, are you saying your neighbors had damage also, or you are surprised that they don't?

No im saying if this was a type of hate crime wouldn't the more high class expensive cars have the damage? Making it more obvious it was my neighbor who did it....

Sorry to here about this bro, but I also had the upgraded alarm system and I tried to move and shake my car, and even tried pulling the handle and what not just to see if it would trigger and nothing. Makes me wonder if they even installed it or not lol. Plus when they gave me the manual to the alarm system, I noticed it was supposed to come with a different remote that I had never gotten. Does my stock remote arm the alarm? Did you ever get another remote?

I have the security system that is packaged with the reverse sensors (interesting package combination, Ford lol). Unfortunately, from what I understand, it is more useful in keeping people from stealing the car once they are inside than keeping people from bashing it to all hell. Really sorry to see that sh*t man. I'm sure it was someone who has a crappy car and was jealous that you had something nice. F them. What goes around comes around and someone stupid enough to do something like that isn't someone smart enough to stay out of trouble.
