Angry Loss of Power and TC on AND off lights on

I am wondering if anyone has had this happen to them before. I was out in my 2013 mustang (v6) lastnight, start it up to leave store and brakes felt funny, my traction control off AND on light was on and when would go to brake, almost felt like it wasn't going to stop and a clunking noise. Also at same time, would give it gas and almost had foot to floor, car had no power. Almost came to complete halt in middle of road. Stopped car, hit TC button on and off and lights went out. Started driving again and same thing. IDEAS???

So Ford dlr says no codes are stored and that if Ford tech line doesnt have anything on it, then there is nothing they can do. WTH They said they are dumb founded that with those lights coming on that no codes were stored. I sure hope someone on here can shed some light on this issue for me.

There was a recent thread about a similar issue. I believe it was resolved by cleaning the ABS sensors.

Sent from the future.

This happens to others too. It did it to me 1x for sure and 1x maybe. It is one of those intermittant issues with the T/C system (I'm thinking yaw sensor) that is super hard to troubleshoot and unless you have a great dealership you are in for a fight. I hate to say this but unless it happens often I would ignore it...yes I know that is not the correct answer but it is what I would do.

Dude this just happend to me.. It was so weird the traction control light flashed and I could feel my brakes being applied and I had minimal response in the throttle.. WTH.. I didn't know what was going on for a second I had to look back and make sure I didn't run anything over.. Please don't tell me this is normal.. If this were to happen to me during rush hour on the highway it could seriously be a major concern.. Has anyone gotten any answers?

Another bonus to cleaning your car THOROUGHLY at least once a week. Keep all that crud off sensitive sensors.

Simple Green works wonders for rotor/brake areas especially if you can get a brush in there. Just be careful if you have aftermarket wheels, check around before you spray it on them.
