3.7 max NA

What is the maximum horsepower possible without a turbo/supercharger? I have heard about 355 at the crank but I feel there is more available.

My 2011 3.7 automatic put down 297 rwhp. That's like 350 at the crank. She has more room to climb with bigger cams and port and
polish.

Not much...id go with maybe 360 crank but you wont be able to drive it on the atreet legally. Most states dont even allow for headers as it is.
What I wanna know if there are any high comp pistons available. That would yield some decent N/A numbers...might even go so high as 310-320 rwhp with all the above plus pistons.

How would he not be able to legally drive it on the street?

I think he means because it will likely require you to run off road pipes and such.

A full bolt on 3.7 with cams and ported intake would be lucky to make around 320 rwhp at most without seriously sacrificing drive-ability.

By the time you get to that point, forced induction or nitrous would provide a better bang for the buck.

Stacking horsepower on a car without any type of charger is hard to do while still keeping it street legal.

It should be possible to get around 290-300whp with out doing more than simple I/H/E and a tune.

Well you can always slap some higher compression pistons, port the heads, fab up a custom manifold, get some aggressive tuning, stroke it.

Ghost cams are just tunes.. They aren't real cams.

No they make a "Ghost cam" tune for the 5.0 and the 3.7.

And yes there are reground cams for the 3.7 but more of a custom set.

Bama may only offer it for the 5.0, but they aren't the only tuner for mustangs. Tuners offer it for the 3.7

It's basically just for the sound at idle. I'm almost certain it doesn't increase performance, heck, I read somewhere that it may decrease performance.

Really what one? I saw supersix is advertising cams but it seems like they just re-work yours? Sounds pretty lame to me.

Supersix may be the company I was thinking of but not 100% sure on that. Let me check around bro. You may be correct but didn't think they re worked the cams. I thought they were all new larger cams for like 1,000 dollars or something like that.
