Switching between bama tunes

Ok so I read something today and it scared me... It said that if your running for example the street tune and you want to upgrade to race tune you have to revert to stock then load the race. Well I didn't do that, I was running performance tune then put the race tune right on top of that.. Is that ok? It's been almost a month no problems.. What do you guys do when you flip between tunes?

I did the same thing several times before I found out about reverting back to stock also. From now on I would recommend going stock between tunes just to be safe. From what I have heard in rare cases your engine might not start if you dont. Not worth the risk Tbh for something so simple.

I switch tunes often and the only tome I ever reverted to stock was when I took it in for service. I've never had a problem. I have both Bama & MPT tunes.

I wouldn't be worried at all. It's just recommended at times to go back to stock when switching tunes. I don't go back to stock, ever.

Hope this helps!

To go back to stock ever so often.. Is what's recommended by manufacturer.. Dan is simply saying he rarely does it so it's obviously not so big of a deal.. Like It's recommended you drive the speed limit but do we ever lol so it's probably not gonna do much if you don't go back to stock but if you come across problems revert to stock and then load another tune
