You need to not waste your money on DDM, the Chinese company who hasn't updated their cheap HID kits from 2000.

HIDplanet.com , I went with Morimoto. Good solid kit with good output. They offer 3k up to 6k I believe. None of that 8k+ worthless junk.

Keep in mind though, for a quality kit you'll pay anywhere from $90-175. But it's worth it not to look like a ricer

Yeah anything over 6000K is dumb IMO. Get 4300K/5000K for OEM match, 6000K for pure white (sometimes a hint of cyan, varies)

I went with 6k, it does have a slight blueish tinge but it goes well with my blueish LED turn signal switchbacks so it fits.

For your fogs, I personally would try to match them up with your headlights, color wise. I'm not a fan of HID headlights and almost pure yellow fogs lol.

The 13-14 stock HIDs look like 5k or 6k to me.

i personally would like the look of the pure amber, all the cars around here have 5-6k Fogs i want to be different. Is the kit worth it for 90 bucks on HID Extra?

Yes. I've dealt with cheap kits for months and gave up. Then found HIDExtra and had success not only in my car but my friends' as well. Solid prices and quality kits, come with 1yr warranty too. They're customer service is great and are real people here in the US.

Oh btw, you don't need a relay harness/capacitor. Just get a stealth series ballast kit for now.

If you really want extra security that you won't have problems go with the capacitors. They will regulate current. A relay harness would only be necessary if you have bad wires from the factory or you got a kit drawing more then 55 watts of power (factory fogs draw 55w) but a 35w kit should be fine.
