Stock Offset

I was wondering what the offset of the performance package rims are.

I just bought the GT premium 19s with 245/45/19s, and I'm getting some pretty good wheel rub on full lock left and right. After a little searching I believe the offset of them is 50mm. So I'm wondering what the PP wheels are. If I'm not mistaken, the PP rims are also 19s with 245/45/19s.

I'm thinking wheel spacers are going to be my next purchase.

Still pretty pleased with how they look.

The Performance Package wheels are 50mm also, you need to put the Steering Stops in to prevent the rub, the cars that came out with the 18 inch and up wheels have them from Ford.

Just for you info...
The 2014 V6 Performance Package wheels are 255/40/19s which are slightly smaller in diameter (5/8") than the 245/45/19s.

You, sir, are correct. I just rechecked.

Just a quick update:

Ordered them yesterday, they came today (stupid fast delivery for standard shipping), took a total of 20 minutes from jacking the car up to letting it back down. I love when problems can be solved by spending $11.99. Thanks for the help, guys.

Reasonable question. I wondering the same thing. Are the steering stops the answer? If you have a V6, and it seems you do, do you feel the wheels fill up the wheel opening without lowering? It looks good from the pic you posted. I may be doing exactly what you did. It looks great.

The

Steering stops are the quick, easy, safe answer. I wish I'd known about this before I installed so I wouldn't have rubbed the inside of the wheel well. Nothing anyone would ever notice because it's hidden by the wheel, but I know it's there.

These wheels definitely fill up the wheel well better. I was thinking about lowering before, but after putting these on, I'm not so sure I really want to anymore. Very pleased with the purchase. Gives the car a better feel too. Really liking how the steering feels.
