Constant misfires

This will be the second time in less than a month that I have to take my pony into Ford because of misfires. My pony has about 18k on it and just started to misfire and loose power plus gas milage has dropped alot. I took it to the Sparks Nevada Ford dealership when I was on vacation in which they kept my car for 4 days and said they had 4 techs look at it and couldn't figure out what caused the misfires in second and forth gears. The engine light never comes on and when they hooked up to the computer it said all was ok but when they took it out to test drive it misfired like crazy. The dealership updated my onboard computer to so call fix the issue with 2014 specs. After almost 10 days the car ran better but then started to misfire in third gear and it started to run really slow plus it won't allow me to redline!! I have an appointment with my local dealership from whom I got my car from so I hope they do a better job....

Try another dealer, it sometimes makes a world of difference. Good luck.

Yea I was told that the Sparks Ford dealership wasn't all that good with mustangs because they sell mostly trucks and all wheel drive. Going to take it back to my local dealership where I bought my pony and they hopefully will do a better job. I'll keep ya posted!

Misfires solved

Finally after about a week my Ford dealership finally fixed the misfires. They found out that 4 of the six sparkplugs were off so after checking with the factory specs they were able to put in new plugs with the rite settings. Now my pony runs like its supposed to!!!!! So hopefully no more misfires!!!
