Just ask yourself. Do you want them to stand out? Or, do you want them to be less noticeable?

You've got a couple of options with fog lights in the grille. You can mount them in a GT style grille, or you can mount them behind a billet grille. You can add the bumper mounted fogs but those tend to be more functional than adding much to the appearance. I have the bumper mounted fogs and have been considering the grille mounted fog lights as an appearance enhancement but I am also strongly considering mounting them behind the grille for more of a stealth look. I'd like to hear some opinions too.

If you are looking for light output and usability. Do not get the bumper mounted fog lights. I honestly can't tell a difference whether they are on or off. I don't have experience with the gt style led fog lights so I can't comment on those.

I would love a picture of the fog lights on at night to show the actual output if them if possible. They do look sweet though since the match the hids.

From what I've been hearing the GT style is mainly an appearance mod more than anything so I went with the style that's in the tech package. I also have them coming with 5K HID....install pics coming soon

Both are an appearance mod. However, the fogs on the GT are bright enough to be considered headlights.

Is there a bracket that allows them to be mounted behind the grille?

Can you do a writeup on how to install an HID kit on the tech package fog lights. I am still confused about where i would mount the ballasts if i got HID's for them.

I ordered mine from starkey-products. I original saw their oem kit on cjponyparts but went to their website. They have a upgrade kit for the 4300 HID and 5000 HID

I have both on my Roush. I blacked out the GT grille lights and use only the bumper ones. Looks better and meaner at dusk and dawn with just the parking lights and lower bumper lights on. My opinion.

I don't have either hooked up, actually lol. Should be able to just split the wires, or install two switches. I'm under the impression the Starkey kit doesn't need a module.

Starkey kit comes with the replacement switch so that you can control the fog lights and not have to splice them. From what I've been reading the kits only allow for either one or the other not both....

The headlight switch turns them on (push/pull) and there is a rocker switch to select either the GT or bumper lights.
I have covers over the GT grille lights, however all four do work.

Others have mentioned this, but some states do not allow 3 pairs of lights to be on at the same time (headlights, 2 sets of "fogs"). I did read Texas was one of those states but I'm sure there are others too.

The GT fogs on the upper grill are IMO the classic look for the STANG .
