Basically, I installed a Roush cold air intake and I had 55 miles to empty before I installed it, now I have 99 miles to empty; how do I go about fixing this? I'm sorry if someone has posted this already, butI searched and couldn't find anything on it!
I heard people say that it is best to disconnect the battery terminal prior to installation but I never did when I installed my Airaid. As far as the miles to empty issues goes, just drive it around and it will recallibrate. You may actually see a slight increase in MPG especially on long trips
congrats for disconnecting thee battery. Look in your owners manual for idle relearn. Also the miles to empty works off your last 500 miles by disconnecting the batt it makes that angry.....I do mean it about disconnecting the battery better safe than sorry.
