California emission Test? - Mustang Evolution

Exclamation California emission Test?

Hello everyone, I will move to CA soon. I heard the emission test is very strict in CA. I have Airaid CAI, Roush alexback and Bama tune on my car. will these mod pass the test? or how can I make them to pass test?

That's a good one and I don't think that you would have any issue passing emissions with the mods on your car. I've seen customers have issues with mid pipes and some catbacks but I think it really depends on the shop where they're doing the work!

Thank you so much, but I found a label said not legal in CA from my AIRAID CAI box.

No CAI is carb legal, so the air raid will have to come off. You might want to put the tune back to stock until you take the test, then do what you want. The axel back will not be an issue.

Ahh! That's 100% my fault! Sorry about this but I would recommend swapping your factory airbox over when you're going to get tested!
