Question about mpt

I understand comparing to bama and steeda, mpt is a much more aggressive tune. Is there any safety concern behind all the power it gives?

Other than that, on mpt website they sell the tuner + tune combo and it only include 3 free tunes. Does it means that every time I got some minor modification to my car and needed to change tune I will need to purchase a new tune? (Minor mod as CAI and gears)

Thank you

There tunes are perfectly safe imo. I did some data logging with them to make sure and to get my tune dailed in. I made the switch from Bama to MPT and it was like night and day for me. Love my MPT tunes and the SCT X4 works great too so no complaints here! You can get tune changes for mods for any tune you get from them for up to six months after your purchase. As long as it's not a big power adder like a supercharger or turbo.

I've been running their 91 octane street tune for almost a year with no issues. While you can't say a custom tune is "safe" over a stock tune in the way of perhaps warranty issues, I have not seen their tunes causing any issues with engine damage or creating codes here.

Been running their tune for about 2 months now. There was a problem with the first tune they sent so I called them and they found the problem, fixed it and sent me back a new tune all within about an hour. They have great customer service. After I got the new tune my car pulls very strong. Shifts are lightening quick, it downshifts and makes awesome blip noises. Highly recommend over Bama.

I'm sure you won't have any issues with any of the tunes you listed above. These are some of the best tuners out there for Mustangs! However, I'm not sure how much more aggressive the above tunes are compared to ours. We do like to make our initial tune pretty conservative. We're definitely willing to datalog with you though and make some adjustments that can benefit you! If you're running a Bama tune at this time feel free to hit up the Bama team and let me know.

We'll gladly hook you up and make sure your tune is aggressive and safe! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!
