Which tuner is the best?

Trying to decide whether or not to go with a Bama or steeda tune. Any recommendations?

From the sounds of many users, I think you should include MPT in your list.

I went with Steeda since they work so closely with Ford.
I recommend really thinking about the X3 instead of the X4 though. At least until SCT hammers out the issues with the X4. My X4 arrived last Thursday and is currently on its way back to SCT to get a replacement as mine was bricked during an update

You realize the point of a forum is to store information right? Not spoon feed questions.

best tuning
hybrid tune vs. race tune
Bama tune and MPT tune
The best tune.
Bama Race tune as DD
Steeda Tunes
Pulling the plug: VMP or MPT tune? Any safety issues?

And that's just where I stopped, there are plenty more... it doesn't take a whole lot of effort to search.

How is the Ghost Cam idle option for MPT? Worth the extra $50?

If you're looking for performance, go with a regular tune. If u just want the cool loping sound then get the ghost tune.

They're the exact same, its not like they only tune the lope at idle, the WOT performance is still there. They are not two separate tunes, one just lopes, and the other doesn't.

I went with a company called VMP for my Roush. They use Steeda CAI's. The fit and quality are second to none. I'm presuming that you're looking for a CAI as well..

Rotors-I've been running Bama tunes on a combination of my Mustangs for well over the past 3 years and the only issues I've had have been in relation to software glitches and leaving the tuner in direct sunlight on a 100 degree day!

It woke up my 2v and 3v and I can personally attest to how much faster this will make the 3.7 as I have a decent amount of trouble keeping up with them and I have a slew of Bolt On's. Take a look at the Bama X4/SF4 Tuner and let me know if you have any questions.

Shoot me a PM if you don't have AM's discount code either and I'll get you hooked up!

Alex
