Honestly the tint is a little dark for my taste but it came with the car. If I was to do it again I would do 35 on the door windows and 20 everywhere else. It's not really an issue it's just sometimes when I back into my garage at night it's hard to see out of the mirrors during the daytime it looks great but my car still gets hot in the sun with or without a sunshade in the windshield

20% on the sides and back and 50% on the whole windshield. Night driving is really no different, daytime is almost clearer.

20% Love the look but had to take it off for my state inspection. Also at night its a pain backing up and seeing out the passenger side window.

20% rear and quarter windows, 35% side. Looks great and can still see pretty good. The shape of the car and natural darkness of the interior means you don't have to go as dark as some other vehicles. Any darker and your begging to be stopped a lot. Speaking of that, don't tint your windshield.

Nuts bro, just asking to be stopped not to mention a safety issue.

There is no safety issue. The majority of my driving is at night and I have absolutely no trouble seeing out of the car at any angle. As far as asking to be stopped, it's not going to happen unless I go through a sketchy neighborhood. Most cops in my part of town know my car and won't pull me over unless I deserve it. Mainly because of where I work, but most of them are also Mustang owners.

I was knocking on wood as I was typing, lol. A lot of people around here have even darker tint and haven't run into any troubles. So here's hoping...

I would suggest going by Kentucky's requirements which is 18% back and rear and 35% sides.

Haha thanks. I did a bit of asking around and seeing what people were getting away with before I decided. Most of the guys getting stopped here have limo tint or just get caught in the wrong part of town. One local that I know of has 35% on his whole windshield, and doesn't drive at night.

If you think you can get away with it or can afford the fine(s), go for it.

Sent from church, because I'm out of cheerios.
