1st thing to make it a real car is dump that stupid prop rod and get: RedLine Tuning Quicklift Plus Mustang Hood Struts

And some Infinity door speakers will make things much better.

Also agree that windows must be tinted dark

Thanks for that option. Looks like around $20 shipped.

Here is a similar unit costing a little less at $11 shipped free that I think I'll try out, unless someone already has with poor results.

May I ask why you recommend a strut tower brace? I have seen these on AM, but is there a considerable (or noticeable) difference if I were to install one of these on my 2014 v6?

HUGE difference. Literally night and day. It eliminates so much body roll. Just taking an exit ramp or going onto the parkway at 25+ mph feels like it's an entirely different car. Taking any turn at moderate speed or just anything involving handling is so so so much better than stock.

Nice! I am in a similar boat as the OP (looking for some affordable first mods), so I may need to move this part closer to the top of my list

Hopefully som1 else who's installed a tower brace will chime in, but it's literally a 5 minute install and you're good to go.

Which did you get? I got the SR performance one in black. It is super beefy. $135 from AM, money well spent. It also looks amazing under my hood with my airaid CAI.

It worked on the web. Nice STB and at an even better price! It makes such a difference, you will really notice it best bang for your buck mod I've done.

Sometimes with the app you need to touch a post so it brings up the menu where you can pick Web View. Then the link will work. Same for the Garage links.

Yeah I figured for 80.00 what the hell. This is one of those things I like to do to all my cars if it is available. It really does make a big difference.

Thanks all for the feedback, I found a guy selling one on craigslist for $75 and went straight way to pick it up. Hopefully will get it on tomorrow!

My first step was leather, radio, and GT wheels. The second step was stripes on the hood, CAI, and a tune. I'm going to stay away from axle back's since the CAI gave me enough growl for my taste but I can see some lower gears in my future.

I say go on your local craigslist and see what rims are available because the stock ones on a v6 are weak. You can also find other good parts like hoods and spoilers on craigslist.

Weak looking or weak in quality? If the wheels are actually weak, could you please explain this? I have a 2012 V6 Premium and never heard about that before but am interested if it's true.

The word AFFORDABLE is not in the Mustang Dictionary.
