I'd say around $300. Miami to Las Vegas is about 2500 miles. I get approximately 29 or so mpg highway in my 2012 V6, so that comes out to about 87 gallons of fuel used. The most recent average price of regular grade fuel is $3.55. So $3.55 times 87 comes out to just over $300. Obviously this is just a rough estimate because actual price of fuel in certain areas and what the traffic situations are are unknown.

You can use this to calculate it.

My Trip Calculator

You just select your car make model year and engine size.

Then you type in the two adresses in the adress section and it will tell you how much money you will spend in gas. Keep in mind that doesnt account for if you get stuck in traffic.

Just remember, cruise control is your friend. It will really help with gas mileage.

Round trip?????

Allow at least $800.00 for gas round trip and driving around Vegas. You will need Motel $$$$ at around $75.00 to $95.00 per night. If you stay in some motels like a Best Western where they do feed you a great breakfast.
If your like me you will need tourist trap money so you can see some interesting things besides the dashboard of your car.
I'm lucky because I "DO NOT GAMBLE" I "DO NOT DRINK" so if I were going to drive out from Daytona I would be sure to have at least $3,000 to cover my vacation. That does not mean I would spend it all but it would assure me a great vacation without worrying how I will get home.
That includes some cash and the rest will load up on my credit cards.

When I went to the S.E.M.A. show in 2012. I flew out from Daytona.
I did a package from the Tropicana Hotel on the Vegas strip which covered my round trip airfare- My Room at the Tropicana for 15 day's- A hertz rental car for the last 8 days. All for $1,806.00
The only thing I had to pay extra was the Las Vegas Strip Tax because my Tropicana was on the Vegas strip. Right next to the M.G.M. Grand.

The first week i needed no car because I just used the monorail to get around and to the convention center. The show was over and then I picked up my rental car and did all the tourist stuff.
I had a great time and spent around $2,900. total for my 15 days. (Meals & Tourist traps plus gas for the rental car)
Driving I would allow $3,000 even if I don't spend it all.

Drive it there

If your moving there it is a different story. If I were you I would just drive it there. I thought you were going on a vacation . Going one way you can take a cooler with some Ham, Turkey and Bread and just eat when you want to. Stay at Motel six dumps and enjoy the drive. Your V6 will use 87 octane and just driving the speed limit you will get great MPG. It will be less expensive to drive and you don't have to worry about if your car will be destroyed by some transport idiot. ( Watch Shipping Wars)
I f you drive out and only need three days you can do it for way less then $500.00
Covering 800 mile a day is pretty easy. ( When your not on Vacation)

It is gonna be a 36 hour trip or abouts.

I helped a friend move from Miami to NC and I drove a box truck with a car dolly and did it in one day. It was about 13 hours or so, not to bad. Drink plenty of red bull.

Don't forget to let us know when you get there ::::

After you get there and settle in you need to invite me out to stay with you . ( For Free) I loved Las Vegas and would love to go again.
