Roush Exhaust break in period

I'm curious, what's the break in period for these? What does that break in period to do the exhausts and the sound? I just recently installed them.

Break in is around 10 seconds after starting the car.

Really, there is no break in period. But after you do put about 3 or 4 hundred miles on the mufflers a lot of the tinny sound will almost go away. This is due to some carbon buidup inside of the mufflers.

Muffler’s have an initial break-in period of a few hundred miles where they become slightly louder and deeper in tone but it won't change dramatically.

Yeah if you look at magnaflow, borla, and most exhaust manufactures websites they have it listed in the q&a section of their website. And I've noticed it with mufflers I've installed. Not drastic but definitely slightly noticeable depending how picky you are on the tone.

After about 200 miles with my Borla S-type's, the sound definitely did deepen up a bit.

Yeah, so were my Borla's. That's why I decided to sell them.

I have the Roush exhaust on my 2012 and I love them. It makes people wonder it really is especially when I fully uncork it. they scream. My salesman bought the Pypes exhaust and it does not sound nearly as good. I drove them for about 150 to 200 miles to let them break in as they say. there really is no break in period per say. but I did what they asked just to cover my self in case something went wrong with the product they could not come back and say I did something I should not have. so long story short follow there recommendations and after that make them scream like a wild Banchy.
