Now a mustang owner for the first time!

For everyone that posted on the threads i started to help narrow down which trim and pricing thank you all a lot. But it finally worked out. I bought a new 2014 v6 base, it's oxford white with the FP6 appearance package and the tech and sync package for $20,800. Mods to follow soon hopefully. Click image for larger version

She's a beauty. I've had mine for a year now and still seem to love it more each day. As I've heard from many others here, "welcome to the addiction".

Welcome and congrats on your new addiction. American muscle is now part of your monthly budget. Good luck and keep reading before buying mods and as always feel free to ask for advice.

Welcome to the Mustang experience. Once you start, you can never go back...I am on my 4th Mustang and have enjoyed every minute of ownership, except for when I sold the previous 3. This will be staying with me for a long time. The '14 is a great car...

Manual, I'd personally never get an automatic sports car.

Just curious because the Barton shifter bracket is the cheapest best mod you can do to your car. Quick easy mod

Going to hijack this thread about the Barton bracket. Did you replace the shifter too or keep the stock one? Which Barton bracket, the original or the new two post do you recommend? I actually don't mind the stock shifter throw, just hate the sloppiness in hard shifting...If the Barton can eliminate this, it will be next on my order list...

Back to the regular scheduled programing...

I bought the original bracket only. The stock shifter is great with it. I can shift up or down with two fingers.

It's black, which I think goes pretty well with the white.

I would say short term yes but the way the Barton bracket and bushing make one unit it will last way longer. The factory bracket is very weak and flimsy. The energy sus make good bushing but without a good sturdy bracket it's not worth using

Ehh I don't mind it looking like a v6 at all as long as it looks like a very nice v6 with an aggressive look and sound.

The only way to make it nice is making it not look like a v6. Anybody can make a nice gt but it takes more to build a nice v6.
